Your kitchen is the heart of your home, isn’t it? I have learned that the kitchen is also a special place at the WVLT Local 8 Studio in Knoxville. It’s been fun being invited back this year.
Most recently, we made homemade bath bombs in the kitchen there, during the Local 8 News First at Four. As you know, there are hundreds of variations of this bath recipe online these days. I experimented until I was satisfied with the ratio of ingredients I shared on the newscast. I explain it in this article on Local8Now.com.
We’ve also mixed up a honey-pumpkin face mask in the studio kitchen, which got great reviews from the show hosts.
Earlier in the fall, we simply talked about low-cost skincare products you can use. For instance, natural witch hazel is a budget astringent that can minimize pores and soothe your skin. Coconut oil is an incredibly rich moisturizer for your skin and hair. And of course, baking soda is a budget bath product that is convenient to have on hand.
What topics would you like to see covered in the studio kitchen? I would appreciate any suggestions you have in the comments below.
