Summer…sun…sweat…family outings…sweltering heat on date nights…what does summer mean to you? I’m exploring all the ways I can keep my kids occupied this summer, busy on freelance projects, and still hoping my husband can find time for a date.
Through it all, I want to look and feel good, don’t you? I’m inspired by all of the Beautycounter consultants around the country who are gracefully looking their best while also being mindful of what they put on their skin. I’m proud to be one them, signed up as a consultant with this skincare line that’s all about screening for safe ingredients.
It’s no surprise that Beautycounter just came out with exactly what busy people are looking for: a safe sunscreen stick! Plus, Protect All Over sunscreen in a tube and Dew Skin tinted moisturizer that also provides some sun protection. Beautycounter avoids the questionable chemical sunscreens and even nanoparticles that have not yet been proven safe. The products use mineral sunscreen ingredients instead.
I’m impressed by how well the products work, but I’m even more impressed by the education that Beautycounter is trying to bring to the beauty industry! For instance, I just got off the phone recently listening to a Beautycounter conference call with the founder of the Environmental Working Group talking in-depth about sun safety.
I’d like to invite any interested consultants who’d like to gather with me on another way to get the word out about Beautycounter, to the June 11 #CleanCouponing Twitter party all about Beautycounter! Just RSVP by responding in the comments below this blog post, including your @twitterhandle there so we can all follow one another. Then, join us next Thursday night, June 11 at 9 pm Eastern time on Twitter. Use hashtag #CleanCouponing to join the conversation and follow the hosts @FlourSackMama and @CleanCouponing both on Twitter during that hour. Clean Couponing is about being frugal with more than money. While I love a good deal as much as the next person, I find my protecting my health and that of my family to be well worth the investment safe skincare products. I’ll admit it, I’m frugal with my family’s health, aren’t you?
Can’t wait to chat with you next Thursday!
