Online Oscars Viewing Party Entices with Hot French Cuisine

8 Flares 8 Flares ×

I wanted to let you know about a live, online opportunity coming up this weekend with Stonyfield, as part of the #StonyfieldBlogger network!

Who else is ready to snuggle up to some hot Oscars viewing on Sunday evening?  Many of us have been in snow shoveling, school closing, cabin fever mode because of February’s tempestuous weather.  While we’re worried about Monday morning roads and the like, we could use a little escapism, couldn’t we?

I’m looking forward to sharing red carpet opinions about fashion and entertainment as we watch the Academy Awards from home and all tweet about it live with @audreymcclellan and @verasweeney from Getting Gorgeous!  Several of my Stonyfield Blogger friends will be tweeting, all following one of America’s hottest French chefs, Ludo Lefevre!

What will the women be wearing?  How will the hottest male Oscar nominees be styled?  Did host Neil Patrick Harris really say that?  What did you think of the opening number?

If you follow @ChefLudo and your other Twitter party hosts and make sure to share your opinions, you could win a chance for West Coast travel and dinner at Ludo’s exclusive Trois Mec restaurant in LA!  Check out the complete details at Stonyfield.  Be sure to join in with hashtag #PetiteCremeFTW! I’ll be online too at @FlourSackMama, so come say hello.

Why the pairing with Chef Ludo?  What a fun way to celebrate Stonyfield’s French-inspired Petite Creme that is reminiscent of a fromage blanc with lots of versatility in the kitchen.  Ludo even created a special rice pudding with this organic treat! The Petite Creme Twitter party begins at 7:30 pm Eastern, 4:30 Pacific on Sunday evening, February 22.

Here at home, I’m wistfully hoping for a break in the weather so I can snatch up some Petite Creme from the grocery store in my favorite flavors: Belle Blueberry and La Vie en strawberry.  I’d also love to cook my family this lightened up version of chicken alfredo with plain Petite Creme for dinner on Oscars night.  How will you be enjoying dinner and the Oscars?

So glad to share about this special #StonyfieldBlogger event!  My opinions are always my own.
