Does it seem acceptable to you that our babies are born prepolluted with traces of toxic chemicals and that Americans carry some of the globe’s highest levels of toxins in our blood?
The independent film about a young family’s quest to understand how so many toxic chemicals got into our bodies might be coming to a theater near you. The latest public screenings are happening soon in Texas, Louisiana, California and Tennessee for the film Unacceptable Levels. The film is receiving positive reviews around the country.
FlourSackMama.com helped bring East Tennessee the film screening for the first time last fall. We also brought you, along with The Housing Hour, the exclusive Knoxville interview with film director Ed Brown. A supportive group of local businesses and causes gathered together to make that screening happen and to have a University of Tennessee physician speak at the event.
If you weren’t one of the hundred plus people who saw the film the first time around, you have another opportunity soon in Knoxville. Check here for ticket availability for this February 6 screening.
The Dallas, Texas screening is this Thursday.
