Spending the Winter with Stonyfield Organic

The days get shorter, the nights get colder, but there’s always something good to look forward to as winter approaches.  Growing up on the farm, it was often a cup of hot cocoa by the wood-burning fireplace.  I especially loved everything about Christmas time at home and church, including my mom’s cooking.GirlsApronsMeFlourSackMama

This winter, I’ll make time to share as many simple traditions as possible with the family I’m raising.  And there’s something new to look forward to. Choosing to move from a traditional journalism background into new media has been the natural choice for me as parenthood has opened another dimension in my life.  I’ve shared with many of you that I feel called to cover topics you often don’t see in popular media today.  I appreciate how connecting with an authentic brand like Stonyfield Organic can fit with efforts to carry on the best of Grandma’s traditions while improving on what we know better.

On some days this holiday season, what our family observes as Advent, the girls and I will take time for old-fashioned scratch cooking with the occasional lighter update from a resource like organic yogurt.
